* International students are entitled to a level of support that is equivalent, so far as is reasonably possible, to home students who receive the DSAs. Although we are able to offer advice and guidance, we are not able to provide any level of care or support in connection with normal day-to-day living arrangements.

Religious provision
To ensure the continued development and celebration of your faith, we offer a range of facilities and services on campus and have affiliations with a number of faith groups, locally and nationally. The Students’ Union also hosts a variety of faith-based societies to meet both your spiritual and social needs.
The Portland Building, on University Park, houses a multi-faith quiet room, Muslim prayer rooms and a chapel. Similar provision is available at the Jubilee and Sutton Bonington Campuses.
Our chaplains and Students’ Union faith-based societies organise religious gatherings, including prayer meetings, religious services and discussion groups, as well as regular sports and social events. The chaplains are also happy to offer support and advice to all members of the University community, irrespective of faith.
The University of Nottingham respects the rights and religious views of its students and care is taken to ensure that teaching activities, including examinations, do not coincide with major religious festivals that would affect students’ ability to attend.
Students who need to absent themselves for reasons of religious observance should discuss the matter with their school.
