If you are planning to come to Nottingham as an international postgraduate student with your partner or family, the University runs a number of schemes that could be helpful to you whilst studying abroad:
- Family Link offers you and your family the chance to get a real flavour of English family life. You will be invited to visit local families for Sunday lunch, an evening meal, or an activity such as walking or sightseeing
- Regular coffee mornings provide an opportunity for your partner to meet other people in an informal setting
- Family outings to places of local interest give you the chance to meet other international students and their families
- Free language classes are on offer, if your partner needs help with their spoken English
- An on-campus nursery with subsidised fees provides care for pre-school children
