Hallward library
The Hallward Library has excellent provision of books, periodicals and online resources in all aspects of English Studies. In particular, the University has holdings for research on DH Lawrence, medieval manuscripts, and the important Portland Literary Collection of late seventeenth and early eighteenth century manuscripts.
The Graduate School
The Graduate School has social space and networked PCs for postgraduate students to use. In addition, there are dedicated meeting rooms and seminar rooms that can be booked by all postgraduate students. The Graduate School is located in the same building as the Masters Gallery and the School of English Studies so our students are able to benefit from both facilities being less than a minute apart.
Work space for all MA students
Dedicated work space for all MA students in the School of English Studies in the Masters Gallery in the Trent Building. The Masters Gallery has networked PCs and wireless access for laptops and is located directly above the Graduate School and the Trent Coffee Bar.
