The School of Clinical Science's translational research attracts significant amounts of research income and covers a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines. Research:
- ranges from laboratory work to clinical and epidemiological studies
- is organised around research groups, research centres and Biomedical Research Units (BRUs) in respiratory disease, gastrointestinal and liver disease, and hearing research
