The School of Contemporary Chinese Studies (SCCS) was established in recognition of the national and global importance of understanding contemporary change and transformation in China. The school is committed to undertaking and promoting advanced interdisciplinary social sciences research into key aspects of the rapid changes currently underway in China. The school is also recognised as a national leader in the provision of high quality discipline based degree programmes.
