Research opportunities in the Division of Energy and Sustainability

Research undertaken within the division addresses issues of global importance in the area of sustainable, affordable fuel and power technologies.

Much of the division’s work is cross-disciplinary and multiagency. It has outstanding facilities for applied work as well as computational studies, and has internationally recognised expertise in a variety of areas including:

  • clean fossil energy
  • CO2 mitigation
  • computational fluid dynamics
  • novel energy materials
