Veterinary Science Masters (MRes)

Duration: 12 months full-time or 24 months part-time

This course has start dates in September and January 


The MRes programme is a one year course and provides a training programme in a specific research area, in 1 of 3 named routes (veterinary science, veterinary business and management and veterinary education).  The course aims to enhance awareness and understanding of latest veterinary research developments, whilst providing tailored in-depth training relating to the research interests of the student.  The MRes degree course consists of two elements - a single research project which runs continuously throughout the duration of the programme and generic training in key skills, although it is possible to take advanced taught courses, with the research project element reduced accordingly.
Entry requirements:2:2 (at least a second class honours degree or international equivalent)
IELTS:Clinical projects: 7.5 with no less than 7.0 in any element. Science projects: 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any element
TOEFL IBT:Clinical projects: 109 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing. Science projects: 87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
