Sustainable Building Technology (collaborative) Masters (MSc)

The Institute of Sustainable Energy Technology (ISET) currently offers this MSc course in collaboration with the following eight Universities: 

  • Harbin Institute of Technology
  • Xian Jiaotong University
  • Donghua University
  • Xian University of Architecture and Technology
  • Shandong University of Architecture
  • Southeast University
  • Kyung Hee University, Korea
  • Physical Environment Centre of Khartoum (PECK)

The MSc Sustainable Building Technology is specifically tailored towards graduates in building services, architectural environmental engineering, architecture and other related disciplines.

The strong emphasis is targeted to successful integration of renewable and sustainable energy technologies into buildings, which requires an understanding of both design and technology and hence the close co-operation of architecture and engineering.

The course is designed to allow discussion and exchange of information between different disciplines and encourages novel and imaginative solutions to the challenge of producing environmentally friendly buildings.

Note: To be eligible for registering on this programme, you will (or should) be a registered MSc student of one of the above universities. To allow Nottingham to check your eligibility, an approval letter (email) from the course directors of one of the above partner institutions is necessary.

Entry requirements:2.1(Upper 2nd class hons degree or international equivalent)
IELTS:6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element)
TOEFL IBT:87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
