Course Specific Facilities
Based in Singapore, the MBA in Financial Studies is taught by the PSB Academy, which is an arm of PSB Corporation. The PSB Academy provides integrated training solutions that will allow organisations to develop their people and build systems to achieve business excellence, as well as to maximise the potential of individuals through continuous education and skills upgrading.
Throughout the years, the PSB Academy (formerly PSB Institute for Productivity Training) has existed as one of Singapore's largest training institutions, training close to 25,000 people every year. We are proud to have contributed to a culture of lifelong learning in Singapore, promoting knowledge and innovation to drive economic growth.
As we progress into the new millennium, the Academy's goal is to be Asia's foremost provider of integrated training solutions to help companies achieve business excellence. To achieve this, it offers a variety of certificated programmes ranging from diploma to postgraduate programmes as well as corporate training programmes formulated to help organisations achieve business excellence.
The University's Jubilee Campus provides superb, modern facilities on an attractive, lakeside campus about one mile from the main University Park campus. A frequent shuttle bus runs between the two campuses and there is a walking and cycling link.
In 2004, the University opened a second Business School building on Jubilee Campus that has world-class facilities, including a full service Business Library, additional lecture theatres, seminar rooms, computer labs, and a café.
The Exchange building on the campus includes large lecture theatres, a bookshop, a bank, a shop and a café opening onto a covered central atrium. There is a large restaurant that overlooks the lake beside the main pedestrian walkway.
The Business School provides a variety of computing facilities, many of which are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
The Business School has a new, full-service Business Library that is open from 8.00 to 21.45 Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 16.45 on Saturdays, and 9.30 to 16.45 on Sundays. Computer services are available 24 hours.
