Literatures in English Translation Masters (MA)

Duration: 1 year full-time

This course has a start date in October

The MA Literatures in Translation offers students the opportunity to study, normally in translation, a range of national and regional literatures from around the world originally written in those European languages. In offering literatures translated from Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Serbian/Croatian, and Spanish, this course enables students without sufficient language expertise to access these texts and situate them both in their cultures and context of origin and in relation to other literatures.

This MA Programme also offers a language option, enabling students to renew their language proficiency at the appropriate level.

Download the MA Literatures in English Translation leaflet for more information.
