The MA International Higher Education provides a unique opportunity to develop your professional expertise and knowledge in this key area of higher education. Drawing on Nottingham’s experience at the forefront of advances in international and transnational higher education over the past for two decades, this course will strengthen your ability to contribute effectively to this fast-developing field, based on analysis of research, policy and institutional strategies.
This course is aimed at:
- deans, professors, lecturers and academic staff across higher education;
- higher education managers, administrators and academic-related staff;
- education developers and consultants;
- higher education policy-makers.
If you are keen to understand how to develop, implement and evaluate strategies for international and transnational higher education, to develop and manage courses abroad, or you or your organisation should relate to international students, this course is for you. You will build on and analyse your own professional experience – and those of other participants from a range of international higher education backgrounds. You will also draw on the expertise of staff from across The University of Nottingham who have extensive knowledge and experience in transnational higher education, and who have made key contributions to Nottingham’s internationalisation. Nottingham now has campuses in China and Malaysia, as well as the UK, and students from 150 countries. In the course, you will investigate practices, policies and theories of higher education and its role in contemporary global society.
