Financial Services and Society Masters (MSc)

Duration: 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time

The MSc Financial Services and Society provides a research-led teaching and learning programme at the forefront of social science research on money and finance within the contexts of Business, Geography and Law.

The course is aimed at students from a wide range of social science backgrounds with an interest in a multi-disciplinary approach to the study of money and finance.

The MSc will explore theoretical and philosophical debates around the subject of money and finance, as well as providing broader research training within social science concepts and methods.

It draws on expertise in the research field of money and finance within the University and is made up of modules based in Business, Law and Geography.

The course will equip students with the necessary knowledge to go on to further research while also preparing them for careers beyond higher education. 

Entry requirements:2.1 (Upper 2nd class hons degree or international equivalent)
Including:Any Social Science Subject
IELTS:7.0 with at least 6.0 in any element
TOEFL IBT:100 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
