Engineering Surveying and Geodesy Masters (MSc)

Duration: 1 year full-time only

This degree is accredited as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired an Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng (Hons) undergraduate first degree.

This course is aimed at science and engineering graduates, industrial practitioners, military and government personnel.

Through an intensive practical and theoretical programme, we aim to develop your expertise and depth of understanding, and to formalise any practical experience in the areas of high precision surveying and advanced geodetic techniques.

The practical field course helps develop team-working, management skills and on-the-spot problem solving capabilities.

We are an Approved Learning Provider for the HM Forces Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme, which applies to this course.

Entry requirements:At least an upper second class (2:1) honours degree (or international equivalent).
Including:Studies in Physical Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.
Excluding:Non numerate qualifications
Other requirements:Undergraduate degree with relevant mathematical elements. A -Level standard mathematics
IELTS:6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each element
TOEFL IBT:87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
