Economics (Conversion) (GDip)

This course has been tailored to meet the needs of students who wish to progress on to a Masters programme, but did not specialise in Economics in their undergraduate degree.

You will be able to follow one of three streams according to your mathematical skills and will take a range of undergraduate modules in order to bring your knowledge to the appropriate level for postgraduate study.

If you achieve an average mark of 60% or more, you will be allowed to progress to the relevant MSc programme.

Entry requirements:2.1(Upper 2nd class hons degree or international equivalent)
Including:Economics modules /ability to demonstrate familiarity with Mathematics
IELTS:7.0 (no less than 6.0 in any element)
TOEFL IBT:100 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
