Economics and Econometrics Masters (MSc)

The MSc Economics and Econometrics is a high quality taught graduate course in economics and econometrics which has ESRC recognition under its "1+3" awards system.

The course is designed to train you in the use of analytic and quantitative methods in examining economic issues, and to provide research training of the level required to proceed to a PhD programme in Economics.

The specific objective of the MSc Economic and Econometrics is to provide a solid foundation in contemporary econometric theory, and the expertise to apply that theory in the analysis and interpretation of economic data.

The content of this course is influenced by the research experience and activities of staff associated with the Granger Centre for Time Series Econometrics.

Entry requirements:2.1 (Upper 2nd class honours degree or international equivalent) in Economics
IELTS:7.0 (no less than 6.0 in any element)
TOEFL IBT:100 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
