Crop Improvement Diploma (PGDip)

Duration: 9 months full-time, 2 years part-time

Field of WheatThis course examines crop improvement through advances in resource use efficiency, and modern crop improvement and breeding techniques.

Focusing upon the understanding of plant to crop systems, and with an emphasis on research training, the course is ideally suited to those wishing to pursue careers in research institutes, plant breeding, agro-industry and advance to higher research degree (PhD) study.

Entry requirements:Candidates are normally required to hold at least a second class honours undergraduate degree in any Biological, Chemical or Physical Science subject (e.g. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Genetics, Food Sciences, Microbiology, Plant Sciences, Physics).
IELTS:6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any element)
TOEFL IBT:87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
