Church History (distance learning) Masters (MA)

Duration: 2-4 years part-time

This course is available by distance learning

This course has start dates in October, January and April

This course allows you either to take a range of modules from different periods from the earliest Christian history to the present, or to specialise in either the early and medieval periods, or the post-Reformation era. It is suitable for those who wish to prepare for a research degree, and for those who wish to undertake graduate level study to enhance and deepen their understanding of the Church’s past.

Entry requirements:2:1 or above (or its international equivalent) in theology and/or religious studies, or a related subject such as philosophy or history. Other candidates will be considered at the discretion of the Department.
IELTS:7.0 with no less than 6.0 in any element
TOEFL IBT:100 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing
