Course Specific Facilities

The majority of practical classes and lectures take place in a dedicated laboratory and lecture theatre respectively within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on D Floor of the East Block of the QMC.

A dedicated student common room with dedicated PCs, lockers, tea and coffee making facilities and a recreational area is also available on D Floor.

You will have the opportunity to observe work being carried out at NURTURE Based at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, NURTURE is one of the UK's leading infertility units, with a team of dedicated specialists on hand to offer the right support any day of the week to those requiring assisted conception treatments.

This course also benefits from substantial input from the School of Biosciences, based at the Sutton Bonington campus and some practical classes are carried out here. The Sutton Bonington campus is located 12 miles to the south of the city and is served by a regular link bus with main campus.
